Emotions are the alert system letting us know that something is wrong or needs attention. Anxiety is one emotion and can trigger us to want to fight or run or shut down. When functioning properly this system is helpful and protects us. But sometimes we get stuck in the feeling and don’t know how to shut the alarm off.
