Clinicians

We are a dynamic duo who focus on helping others to find and utilize their inner strengths and resources to create one unified self.

Katheryn Brauckmann, LCSW

"Yesterday I was clever so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise so I am changing myself." This quote by Rumi sums up my approach to therapy. We deal with change on a daily basis. Change requires us to face our fears and anxiety, feel the sadness and anger of loss, and take action towards growth. Transition periods bring a lot of disturbance and learning to identify and communicate our needs is essential in adapting to those changes.  I provide compassionate, humorous, and honest therapy to adults in PA who want to understand their past, change habits and perspectives that hold you back, and develop health relationships. I am passionate about helping others to live a complete and whole life. I focus on exploring the mind, body, and spirit to aid in creating a unified whole.

We all experience traumas and difficulties on a daily basis. Most of the time we can cope just fine; however sometimes life overwhelms us and leaves us stuck. That’s where I come in! I hold the space and time sacred for you to process the negatives, explore and express your emotions, and decide on action that helps move you forward. We will use curiosity, mindfulness, and other techniques to explore new perspectives, identify your strengths, and develop whole self that you are proud to be.

I hold the space and time sacred for you to share about the negatives and celebrate the positives. Therapy is a relationship. We will use curiosity, mindfulness, and grounding techniques to explore new perspectives, identify your strengths, and develop skills to move you forward. Through individual sessions I work with a variety of concerns. These concerns include anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, emotional understanding and regulation.

NOT ACCEPTING CLIENT AT THIS TIME

Someone once told me “we are all swimming around in the same dirty water.” You are not alone. We have all been impacted by painful or traumatic experiences, thoughts, or emotions. It can be helpful during a difficult time to seek the support of trained professional. I am here to walk alongside you, helping you to process, cope, and ultimately grow. An integrative approach guides my practice and allows me to create a unique treatment plan for each client. Through the use of trauma-informed care, mindfulness meditation, and cognitive-behavioral therapy, we will work together to bring about an awareness of negative thought patterns, practice new strategies, and move towards healthy behavioral changes.

Services

My services include short and long-term in-person counseling sessions for adults, in a safe, supportive environment. Depending on the presenting issue, I will help you learn how to use grounding, meditative, and mindfulness techniques to cope with depression, stress, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma.

I also provide individual and group supervision for Licensed Professional Counselors and Licensed Clinical Social Workers.

Experience

I am a licensed clinical social worker in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with 10+ years of experience working with individuals and families in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
